Jacob Loel

Jacob is a Consultant for American Philanthropic and works out of our Phoenix, Arizona office. Jake maintains the accuracy and integrity of prospect research for clients, as well as advising them on individual and foundation outreach strategies. Jake is educated in grantmaking and has broad experience with researching, writing, marketing, and project management. 

Prior to joining American Philanthropic, Jake served as a Refugee Employment Specialist at Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas and as an Assistant de Langue for the Ministry of Education for the Republic of France. More recently, Jake completed an internship at the U.S. Department of State and is a member of the AEI Leadership Network.

Jake earned his Bachelor’s in French Literature and International Studies at the University of Dallas and his Master's in International Security Studies from the University of Arizona.
