Kristen Hermes

Kristen is a consultant in the capital campaigns department at American Philanthropic. Before joining American Philanthropic, Kristen worked as a Press Assistant in Washington, D.C. for U.S. Senator John Barrasso, a District Field Director for the Congressional Leadership Fund, and a Legislative Affairs Fellow for Former Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner. In these positions, she gained experience in targeted messaging and writing, personnel management, office organization, and media relations. Kristen received a B.A. in Political Science from Wheaton College in Illinois. She lives with family in the suburbs of Chicago.
