Owen Thomas is a healthcare philanthropy consultant with American Philanthropic, focusing on developing world-class grateful patient fundraising programs for healthcare and hospital clients. Owen also works as a Director of Major Gifts for Penn State University, raising six- and seven-figure major gifts for the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and the Penn State College of Medicine. Prior to joining American Philanthropic and Penn State, Owen worked as a Chief of Staff and Committee Director in the Senate of Pennsylvania for the better part of two decades.

Owen graduated with a degree in political science from Messiah College. He resides in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
