Catholic Charities of Buffalo are approaching the last leg in their $11M annual campaign; Catholic Charities has local chapters throughout the country and support local works of mercy.

"Officials of Catholic Charities of Buffalo have announced that the annual campaign has raised $10.55 million, almost 96 percent of its $11 million goal. Appeal leaders are asking the community for help in raising the remaining $449,205 needed to reach the final goal by June 30.

"Rev. Richard J. Malone, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, said, 'We are in the home stretch of this nearly six-month journey to raise the funds needed to allow Catholic Charities to continue its work that is so vital to the community, and the finish line is within sight.'"--The Buffalo News
