A newly purchased home for Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph caught on fire; the damage to the unoccupied building has not cost any lives, but an estimated $200K. 

"Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph plans to rebuild from a fire that tore through its planned office space at 1123 S. 10th St.

"The nonprofit agency will continue to serve people while it rebuilds from a fire that started on the second floor of a former UMB Bank branch and caused the partial collapse of the roof. Firefighters battled the blaze for more than five hours Sunday."--the News-Press.com
