British Columbian businesses give an average $370 million (CDN) to charity per year, including an estimated $55m in non-cash contributions.

"Businesses in B.C. give an estimated $315 million a year to charitable causes, according to a study commissioned by the Business Council of B.C. The study, conducted by the consulting firm MNP, estimates that in addition to cash contributions, businesses in the provinces also provide charities with partnerships and sponsorships worth an estimated $55 million, bringing the business sector’s total support of charities to $370 million a year."-- Chad Skelton, the Vancouver Sun
