Are donors like George Soros, Tom Steyer, and the Ford Foundation the tail that wags the Democratic Party dog?

Do 501(c)(3) foundations and charities on the left overcome the legal firewall separating them from political campaigns with the help of Catalist LLC, a for-profit data vendor?

Do their conservative foes even understand what left-of-center nonprofits are doing to manipulate small-dollar donors and voters, with the help of the Analyst Institute and armies of professors and grad students?

Is the Clinton Foundation actually a foundation?

How does Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe receive grants to finance his businesses? How does he secure foreign nationals’ contributions to his political campaigns and to the Clinton Foundation?

…these and more questions on the intersection of nonprofits and politics are discussed in the new interview that Ginni Thomas of the Daily Caller kindly did with me.

  1. Bob Saenz says:

As corrupt as Hillary Clinton and her foundation appears to be my question is how someone so corrupt for so long could still exist in Washington? They would have had to have the aid of Senators and Congressmen? Where is the Ethics Committee? Why have they allowed her and Bill to escape their scrutiny for so long? Why are Americans just now hearing about the extent of their corruption? UNLESS, they are too busy covering their own behinds. To leave it for the public to discover on its own is not acceptable. Me thinks the whole place is rotten to the core.
