National Philanthropy Day was 11/15; Bank commemorated day with study showing Wisconsonians will give $3,000 more this year than US average.

"Wealthy Wisconsin philanthropists will likely donate an average of $11,830 to nonprofits and charitable causes in the coming year, almost $3,000 more than the national average, according to a recent study released by BMO Private Bank. The bank’s study, made public on Thursday in recognition of National Philanthropy Day, marks the third in a series of studies analyzing trends among Americans with investible assets of $1 million or more." -- Milwaukee Business Times
