A Good Samaritan in MN got philanthropic surprise when man he helped after slip-and-fall donated $16,000 to program that helps poor pay heating bills.

"The good Samaritan stayed with the man until paramedics arrived, talking to him to make sure he didn’t go into shock. Last month Kocke got a 'shock' of his own. The injured man, who prefers to remain anonymous, tracked Kocke down to thank him personally for his help. They later ran into each other in LaSalle Plaza where they both work. One conversation led to another — and then to a surprise $16,000 donation to the Salvation Army HeatShare program." --Jean Hopfensperger, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune
