BATB became a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization three years ago. We have distributed over 1000,000 books to children in poverty. Our goal for this year is to give 60,000 books to children in the San Marcos area. We will partner with schools, foundations, and other community organizations to fight the low literacy rates among children in low income families. We need to get books into the children’s homes so that they will have equal access to books as middle to high income families. We have found a source where we can purchase books for thirty cents a book. Will you help us meet our goal?
