ND woman took trip to Mexico on youth baseball nonprofit's credit card, among other purchases; will serve one-year sentence for theft of $31,000.

"A North Dakota woman has been sentenced to one year in prison after admitting she stole thousands of dollars from a baseball nonprofit. Forty-three-year-old Nikki Smith has pleaded guilty to one count of theft of property. The Minot woman will spend two years on probation after leaving prison. Smith stole $31,000 from Magic City Youth Baseball between 2011 and 2013." -- the Bismarck Tribune
