AZ nonprofit wants to require American high schoolers to pass civics exam based on citizenship test; last week IA legislature said, "No thanks".

The effort mirrored movements in other states, including Alaska, South Dakota, Tennessee and Utah. Governors in Arizona and North Dakota have already signed such bills into law." -- Associated Press
