Vanderbilt heir sells family busts to nonprofit for $175,000 so they can be installed in former Vanderbilt home, the Breakers in Newport, RI.

"The nonprofit group that owns several Newport mansions has acquired two busts of members of the Vanderbilt family, ensuring they will permanently be displayed at The Breakers mansion the family built in 1895. The Preservation Society of Newport County said this week it purchased the busts of Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt, and his grandson, Cornelius Vanderbilt II, from the commodore's great-great-great grandson, Count Peter Eltz, for $175,000." -- Associated Press
