AZ nonprofit is focused on rebuilding homes destroyed by fire last summer, for uninsured owners; 13 are built, with about 24 more to go.

"The Yarnell Hill Recovery Group used donations and volunteer labor to replace homes for uninsured residents. Construction on the first houses began in September; a handful were finished shortly before Christmas. The June 30 fire killed 19 members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots and destroyed 127 homes in the mountain communities of Yarnell, Glen Ilah and Peeples Valley. Nearly a quarter of the residences were lost." -- Anne Ryman, the Arizona Republic
