The home nicknamed after Pixar's film "Up" will either be destroyed or moved, and the nonprofit working to move it has not raised enough funds yet.

"The affordable-housing nonprofit that’s managing the fundraising effort to help move the Ballard house once owned by Edith Macefield to Orcas Island is running behind on its fundraising goal.

"OPAL Community Land Trust said Tuesday it’s raised about 10 percent of its $205,000 total to help cover the so-called “Up” house’s lift onto a barge, move across water, land and remodeling. The nonprofit hopes to renovate the home for a family to move into."--Jessica Lee, The Seattle Times
