Wesley Cate is co-founder of Collaborosity ("collaborative generosity"), an entrepreneur facilitation initiative. Previously Wesley served as a research fellow at Sagamore Institute in Indianapolis, where he studied the role of private and official aid flows in international development and conducted field research in India and Cambodia. He was also the managing editor of American Outlook, the institute's policy journal. In tandem with his role at Sagamore Institute, Wesley taught world geography as an adjunct professor at the University of Indianapolis. In 2013, he served on the board of the Indiana Council on World Affairs. Wesley graduated with an MA in international relations from the University of Indianapolis, and received a BA in music from Anderson University in 2009.
