James Davenport is a consultant with American Philanthropic. Previously, he was the academic program officer at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute where he managed ISI's advanced programs for undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty. His writing can be found in The University Bookman, Front Porch Republic, The Imaginative Conservative, and more. He studied Politics at the Templeton Honors College at Eastern University. James is from upstate New York and currently lives in Northeast Pennsylvania with his wife and son.
