The Simon-DeVos Prize for Philanthropic Leadership nomination deadline has been extended until March 31, 2023.

Philanthropy Roundtable has extended the nomination submission deadline for its 2023 Simon-DeVos Prize for Philanthropic Leadership to Friday, March 31, 2023.

Each year, Philanthropy Roundtable awards the Simon-DeVos Prize to recognize a living philanthropist who has shown exemplary leadership through charitable giving. The prize is a $200,000 award, payable to the winner’s charitable organization of choice. Past winners include entrepreneurs and philanthropists Ken Griffin, Bill Oberndorf, Paul Singer, Bernie Marcus, Charles Koch, and John and Susan Sobrato, among others.

Sponsored by the William E. Simon Foundation and the DeVos Family Foundation, the Prize recognizes philanthropic endeavors that advance the principles of personal responsibility, resourcefulness, volunteerism, scholarship, individual freedom, faith in God, and helping people help themselves.

Nominations for the Simon-DeVos Prize can be submitted online via Philanthropy Roundtable’s website until Friday, March 31, 2023. The Roundtable strongly encourages nominators to begin the nomination form before the deadline to make sure the submission is accepted.

A selection committee will review the nominations, and the Prize will be presented at the Roundtable’s Annual Meeting in Rancho Palos Verde, California, October 25-27, 2023.
