In Greenwich, there will be dodgeball for charity; the tournament will give donors the opportunity to harken back to their youth while providing service dogs to wounded vets.
"We thought people would be interested in playing a dodgeball tournament that could bring back childhood memories, and it’s obviously going to a good cause,” said Camryn Ferrara, a Torch Club adviser and organizer of the event.
"The tourney will raise money for K9s for Warriors, a nonprofit that provides service dogs to veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder or having difficulty re-acclimating to civilian life."--Silvia Foster-Frau, Greenwich Time
